Aryang is preparing to step into a leadership position in defence this year to help guide newcomers Fran Williams, and Kadie-Ann Dehaney through their first season in the green dress.
"My personal focus is probably just having that communication with both KD and Fran, both of them are new so we’re trying to get them on the same page as the team,” Aryang said.
"It’s cool watching Fran play, she’s an amazing player and great at what she does, it’s nice to have someone like her on the same team as you.
"Training with KD is great, she’s good to chat with and she always makes sure you know she’s there for you.”
The team were able to see just how supported they are by their fans at the recent Green Army Fan Day.
"The turnout for the fan day was amazing, we’ve got such a great fan base who always get around the team,” Aryang said.
"They’re so good about being welcoming to new faces, so it was a great day and really fun seeing everyone.”
Aryang is ready for the SSN season to begin so the team can come together and start using the skills they’ve worked on in pre-season.
"We are fresh, we are new, but I am looking forward to us bringing it to the competition with all our new faces. We have got so many great additions to the team,” she said.
