Despite missing the first two games of the season, Fowler-Nembhard came out on top with a total 43 votes, ahead of Defender Sunday Aryang (38) and Wing Attack Alice Teague-Neeld (27).
Fowler-Nembhard was also awarded the Club’s Players’ Player Award voted by her peers. She also claimed the People’s Choice Award and the Most Valuable Shooter Award, both awards voted for by the Green Army.
Upon Fowler-Nembhard’s return to the game in Round Three, the side went on to win a Suncorp Super Netball record 13-straight games.
She became the first player to reach 9,000 National League Goals during Fever’s Round Seven clash with the Giants and secured 7,000 SSN goals in the Grand Final against the Melbourne Vixens.
Fowler-Nembhard also finished the season on top of the League for both goals (724) and Nissan Net Points (1375).
Fran Williams was awarded the Coaches’ Award by Dan Ryan for her outstanding contribution to the team throughout the year.
Sloan Burton took out the Most Valuable Player for the premiership winning West Coast Fever Reserves.
The Club’s Merchandise and Licensing Manager Katie Woodland was awarded the Club Person of the Year Award for her outstanding contribution ensuring the Green Army were geared up in green throughout the season.
