West Coast Fever can finish anywhere from first to third depending on the results of three key matches: Fever v Melbourne Mavericks, Queensland Firebirds v Melbourne Vixens and the Adelaide Thunderbirds v Sunshine Coast Lightning.
We’ve crunched all the scenarios so you know exactly what needs to happen during the final round of the season.
Here’s what could happen…
Fever will finish First if:
- They defeat the Mavericks; and
- Both the Thunderbirds and Vixens lose.
Fever will finish Second if:
- They defeat the Mavericks;
- The Thunderbirds defeat the Lightning; and
- The Vixens lose.
OR
- Both the Thunderbirds and Vixens win; and
- Fever defeat the Mavericks with a winning margin 12 goals greater than the Vixens.
Fever will finish Third if:
- Both the Thunderbirds and Vixens win; and
- Fever defeat the Mavericks but their winning margin does not exceed the Vixens by 12 goals.
OR
- If Fever lose to the Mavericks.
