The second quarter saw Fever keep up the momentum and almost double their lead in a dominant display of netball.
Jhaniele Fowler was unstoppable under the post shooting at 98 per cent for the game, while Bruce and Sunday Aryang capitalised on a number of missed supershots as the Magpies scrambled to lessen the gap.
Magpie Ashleigh Brazill moved from wing defence into centre, facing off against former teammate and game MVP Verity Simmons for a competitive match-up after a number of clashes throughout the game.

The third quarter saw Fever expand their lead to 20 goals and remain in control of the scoreboard.
Aryang was instrumental with three intercepts and five deflections for the game, as well as Bruce with seven deflections and two intercepts for the game, who delivered a stunning deflection that manifested as a supershot from Glasgow in the Power 5.
Glasgow was impressive from a distance, scoring an exciting supershot moments before the whistle.

Emma Cosh entered the court for the first time this season at goal attack at the start of the final quarter. Cosh’s first appearance was impactful with three goals, four goal assists and five centre pass receives.
Fever switched up positions across the court, with Rudi Ellis and Kim Jenner coming on defence, Aryang moving to wing defence and Glasgow into GS to allow Fowler, Bruce and Anstiss to rest up.
Fever wrapped up the quarter with another supershot frenzy much to the excitement of the 5,842 fans inside RAC Arena. Glasgow scored four from five supershots, her fourth in the final 25 seconds for a fitting end to an exquisite performance from Fever.
