Rudi Ellis made her Suncorp Super Netball breakthrough after relocating from Melbourne to earn a spot at the Queensland Firebirds.

Wanting to learn from the best - goal keeper Courtney Bruce - she shifted west and is part of one of the league's strongest defensive lines.
