Ingrid Colyer will miss Saturday’s clash with Melbourne Vixens after suffering a knee injury in the third quarter of last night’s win over the Queensland Firebirds.
Colyer had scans on her knee today and the club are awaiting the results which are expected tomorrow.
Fever Head Coach Stacey Marinkovich said it was disappointing news for the Wing Attack.
“We’re a family at Fever, and we will continue to support Ingrid,” Marinkovich said.
“It speaks volumes of our club that the mood amongst the team was very flat last night, despite the victory.”
Training partner Courtney Kruta will fly to Queensland to replace Colyer.
Kruta is a West Australian who has come through the Netball WA pathway and is currently playing for East Freo Sharks in the Gold Industry Gold West Australian Netball League.
