The West Australian athletes have both progressed through the Netball WA pathway, developing their defensive skills and establishing themselves as two of the most exciting players in the league.
Sunday made her national league debut in 2019, was a member of Fever’s maiden premiership in 2022 and has played 93 games for the Club. She has represented the Australian Diamonds on 39 occasions, including a Commonwealth Games Gold Medal in 2022 and the 2023 Netball World Cup win.
While Sunday missed the 2026 season with a knee injury, her talent was clearly on display when she claimed back-to-back runner up finishes in the Stacey Marinkovich Medal in 2024 and 2025.
Sunday said she was looking forward to returning to court in front of the Green Army.
“After spending this season on the sideline, I'm incredibly grateful for the support and belief this Club has shown me,” she said.
“I’m so proud to be a part of this Club and can’t wait for the opportunity to step back onto RAC Arena in front of the Green Army, bring on 2027!”
Ruth returned to court in 2026 and made an immediate impact with her vertical leap and closing speed making her a challenge for the world’s best shooters. Since making her debut in 2024, Ruth has played 14 games, including 10 in 2026.
On the opportunity to continue playing for Fever, Ruth said she’s feeling incredibly excited.
“I’m super excited to get back into the Green Dress and run out onto RAC Arena,” she said.
“I can’t wait to get stuck into it and see our Green Army again.”
Fever General Manager Sara Francis-Bayman said the Club are thrilled to welcome back the Aryang sisters.
“The re-signing of the Aryang Sisters is a key component of our defensive end,” Francis-Bayman said.
“We’ve backed them after a couple of difficult seasons and we believe they are vital cogs in our drive to a second premiership,” Francis-Bayman said.
"Like the Green Army, we are excited by what Ruth and Sunday bring to the netball court, forming a potential Diamonds combination in the future. They defend ferociously and they have the ability to win the ball at crucial stages.”
