West Coast Fever will depart Perth tonight, Tuesday June 29, for Melbourne to play the NSW Swifts this weekend following the relocation of the Round 9 Suncorp Super Netball fixture to avoid COVID-19 lock-downs.
Fever’s Round 9 game against the NSW Swifts was originally scheduled to take place in Sydney this Saturday, July 3.
The Swifts relocated to Victoria today along with the GIANTS, Sunshine Coast Lightning and Queensland Firebirds to allow the 2021 season to proceed due to COVID-19 lock-downs in New South Wales and Queensland.
West Coast Fever will work with Netball Australia and NSW Swifts to finalise the details of the fixture in Melbourne and provide an update as soon as possible.
The Club continues to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation and the impact on the 2021 Suncorp Super Netball Season.
