Brown was a fierce competitor against Suncrop Super Netball athlete Eleanor Cardwell, securing a rebound and enough pressure for a missed goal by Cardwell on her entrance.
Sloan Burton was a play maker out on court, finding a turnover against her opposition, her speed moving the ball into the hands of her teammates and producing a super shot.

The Mavericks came on after the main break determined to make a difference, notching six goals in a row.
Kelsey Browne entered the game and used her experience to be a solid presence in Wing Attack.
Despite a fight-back by the Mavericks, the home side could not push through the defensive wall of Fever.

In the Final term, Fever continued to build with a lead as high as 19 goals.
