Alongside her role as a Fever Training Partner, the 20-year-old also captained the Fever Reserves side and was recently selected once again in the National First Nations Team, the Black Swans.
Jauncey’s leadership has also extended beyond Western Australia, with the defender serving as co-vice-captain of the Australian 21/U side that claimed gold at the 2025 Netball World Youth Cup.
West Coast Fever Head Coach Dan Ryan said Jauncey has produced another really consistent year of netball and shown great growth over the last 12 months.
“She has hugely benefited from being immersed in the Fever training environment and showed plenty of promise when she stepped on the court during our pre-season matches this year,” he said
“Scarlet is a hard worker and a fierce competitor with so much potential still to unlock. She’s a really determined athlete with big goals and I know she’s up for the challenge.”
Jauncey said she was excited to continue her development in the West Coast Fever environment.
“I’m really grateful to be back with West Coast Fever for another season,” she said.
“The environment has already helped me grow so much both as a player and a person, so I'm really excited to keep learning, working hard and challenging myself alongside such a great group.”
