Fever had solid first and final terms, but a nine-goal lead by the Vixens in the second quarter was enough to secure the win.
Sophie Eastaugh was the main goal shooter for Fever, alongside Sloan Burton and young gun Skyla Payne.
Fever managed a one goal lead in the first quarter before a Vixens blitz in the second. The away side also took out the third quarter, before Fever fought back in the last.
Despite winning the final quarter, it wasn’t enough to get over the line.
The Reserves will now fly alongside the Suncorp Super Netball Team to play the Sunshine Coast Lightning on Sunday.
