Aiken-George will step onto an Australian League Netball court for the 255th time, officially breaking Cath Cox’s previous record of 254 and writing herself into the history books.
Sasha Glasgow will also hit a milestone game, playing her 100th National League Game this Sunday.
Fever will be more motivated than ever to get the win for their teammates, especially after going down by 20 goals to the Adelaide Thunderbirds in Round Nine.
The Swifts took a 14-goal win over the Sunshine Coast Lightning in Round Nine, when they welcomed back Paige Hadley to the court.
The two sides last met in Round Four when Fever beat the Swifts on their home court by 20 goals.
Head-to-head
The Grace Nweke and Kadie-Ann Dehaney matchup is always one to keep your eye on, two of the most influential players in the competition going head-to-head. Nweke’s accuracy can be a game changer, but Dehaney is known for being able to get under her oppositions’ skin.
The record breaker will go up against former teammate Sarah Klau. The two haven’t faced each other yet this season, but last time Fever played the Swifts, Aiken-George scored a huge 67 goals.
Despite the loss, Zoe Cransberg managed 35 Feeds in the centre bib last Friday, over 10 more than opponent Maddy Proud. Whilst Proud brings experience in the game, Cransberg is fast and impactful in the centre bib.
From the Court
Record breaker Aiken George said the side are keen to get out in front of their home crowd and win.
“To be able to have a milestone game and get a win would be amazing,” she said.
“So let’s win.”
