Fever trailed by as much as seven goals during the latter stages of the second quarter, before a stunning third quarter drew them level at three-quarter-time.
The teams traded blows in a tight and frantic final quarter as the pressure of the contest increased.
With scores level and the match on the line in the dying moments, Jordan Cransberg, who played every minute, won an important ball on Fever’s transverse line as the Vixens looked to slingshot down the court.
Fever remained composed to allow Olivia Wilkinson the chance to hold her nerve to score the winning goal in the final seconds.
The fightback was led by Alice Teague-Neeld and Sunday Aryang, who after sitting out the first half, lifted Fever along with Training Partner Sloan Burton at Goal Attack.
Sunday’s two Gains, one Intercept and a Rebound raised the pressure on the Vixens and Fever were able to capitalise.
Burton’s five Goal Assists allowed Wilkinson to score 12 goals and two supershots for the quarter and Fever came barnstorming back into the game.
Burton found another level in the final quarter scoring a supershot as she and Wilkinson matched the efforts of Lily Graham to keep the match tight.
In the first half, Mwai Kumwenda produced her best netball of the tournament, scoring 14 goals and four supershots at 100 per cent to ensure Fever remained in touch with the Vixens.
The win leaves Fever with a perfect record from their three games and the opportunity to lift the Team Girls Cup in tomorrow’s final. Their opponent to be determined after the last two matches of Round Three.
