Rising star Sunday Aryang has committed to West Coast Fever for the next two Suncorp Super Netball seasons following a break-out year in 2021.
The exciting young defender, who was selected in the Australian Diamonds squad after impressing selectors with her speed, timing and agility, said she was looking forward to continuing her career with Fever.
“I’m super excited and grateful for the opportunity to be with the club for another two years,” she said.
“I’m looking forward to playing in front of the Green Army again, being back with the girls and starting our new journey with Dan Ryan.”
Aryang made her national league debut in 2019 after being elevated from Fever’s extended squad and has now played 31 games, forming a formidable combination with captain Courtney Bruce in the defensive circle.
This season she recorded 54 gains, 50 deflections and 24 intercepts to be ranked among the top defenders in the league and won West Coast Fever’s People’s Choice Award.
