West Coast Fever superstar Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard has capped off an outstanding 2025 season after being named the Suncorp Super Netball Player of the Year for a record sixth time. 
  
        
        
        
            Fowler-Nembhard played an integral role in the Club’s record-breaking season which saw Fever claim their first minor premiership and set the record for the most consecutive Suncorp Super Netball wins with 13. 
 
She led the League’s scoring with 841 goals at 97 per cent and averaging more than 60 goals a game.
 
Fowler-Nembhard said: “I’m honoured to be accepting this award. I have to give all the glory to God who has brought me through this season and made it possible for me to stand here. 
 
“Thanks to my teammates who have supported me on and off the court and my club West Coast Fever who stood behind me to make sure I was able to step onto the court and play. 
 
"Also my family who have been so amazing and are my number one fan.” 
 
Fowler-Nembhard was also named in the Suncorp Super Netball Team of the Year at Goal Shooter alongside Fever teammates Alice Teague-Neeld (Wing Attack) and Sunday Aryang (Defence Interchange).
 
Former West Coast Fever Head Coach Norma Plummer AM was also celebrated as she was elevated to Legend in the Hall of Fame. Plummer coached Fever on 39 occasions from 2012 to 2014.
