We’re so excited to be back on our home court and ready to enjoy a great Friday night together.
Round Eight was a whirlwind trip, but I’m proud of how the squad fought for themselves and each other in those final moments to secure the win over the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
Winning those close moments is crucial at this point in the season, and it gives us plenty of confidence in our ability to stay composed under pressure.
I know there will be plenty of entertainment off the court this Friday, but on the court we’ll be focused on playing to our standards and executing our individual roles.
We haven’t beaten the Thunderbirds yet this season, but our squad also looks very different to how it did in Round Two. This will be a great occasion for us to test ourselves against a top-two team, especially as we push for another finals campaign.
