Green Army,
What can I say, what a mammoth game last week!
You truly did become our eighth player in those final minutes, your constant cheering helped the side dig deep and push for those two extra goals.
Kadie-Ann Dehaney’s performance was game-changing and it is incredibly rewarding to see her excel in those crucial moments.
On behalf of the Club, I would like to say a massive thank you to the Green Army for the warm welcome you extended to Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard on her return to RAC Arena. I can say without a doubt that your love and support was beyond appreciated when she hit the court.
As we turn towards this week’s game, we know we must lock in and expect nothing less than the best from Tracey Neville, captain Amy Parmenter and the Melbourne Mavericks.
Our defence know that going up against Shimona Jok and Sasha Glasgow will be no easy feat, but they are up for the challenge.
Jess Anstiss, Alice Teague-Neeld, Jordan and Zoe Cransberg are all training the house down, which is translating into their cohesive and strong units on court. They are ready to face the agility of Molly Jovic, Amy Parmenter and Tayla Fraser.
Our shooters will continue to utilise their strong relationships in goals. With Jae’s return, we have seen the flexibility of Olivia Wilkinson to move to Goal Attack and continue to show her good form.
I have loved to see the side’s progress over the past two weeks, coming into some really solid form and using that momentum to keep us moving forward
This one is an important game to win Green Army, so we’re going to make sure we show up and produce a really good quality brand of netball.
Let’s Gear up in Green and Feel the Fever for a second week in a row at RAC Arena!
