Green Army,
We are back at RAC Arena, for not one but two home games to round out the regular season!
We have cherished our moments at home with you by our side and the last two home games will be no different.
Today is First Nations Round, a match that we hold very close to our hearts and we hope you enjoy the day as much as we do. A big shout out to today’s Match Day Partner, Shooting Stars, who are also our Charity Partner.
Round 12 was massive. Not only did we strike down the Lightning on their home court, but we equalled the Suncorp Super Netball record for consecutive wins.
Although they’re nice in our back pocket, records aren’t what we’re striving for, we are focused on our performance as we hurtle towards finals.
A special shoutout is in order for our two milestone athletes. Well done to Alice Teague-Neeld for hitting 100 games in the Green Dress last week, and Kadie-Ann Dehaney for reaching 100 National League Games today. Both Alice and KD are integral and loved members of our squad, so make sure you cheer them on extra loud today.
As they demonstrated in Round 7, you can never underestimate the Giants. We’re ready to see what Julie Fitzgerald and Co-Captains Jo Harten and Jamie-Lee Price bring our way.
We’ve only got two home games left of our regular season Green Army, let’s break some attendance records, Gear up in Green and Feel the Fever as much as we can before finals!
