Green Army,
Happy Game Day.
Last week did not go our way, we acknowledge that and move forward knowing that we are a side that don’t like losing and bounce back well from a loss.
We don’t shy away from the discomfort, and the squad are itching to get back out on our home court.
There’s no better motivation for the team than to win for their teammates celebrating milestones this weekend.
Romelda’s record breaking game is an incredible achievement for Dids, one we are fortunate to be a part of as a group – it will be forever etched as one of the great Australian Netball moments!
Sasha Glasgow also hits a milestone, stepping onto the court for the 100th time. I have been there since the start of Sasha’s career and I'm incredibly proud of what she has done in her first 99 Games and game 100 will be no different.
I’m expecting the Swifts to be up and about this week, especially with the return of Paige Hadley to the side. They’re coming off a win and will be gunning for another, something we are preparing for and ready to face.
Thank you for Feeling the Fever last Friday, the Green Army make RAC Arena the best stadium to play in the League and I'm sure you will do the same for Romelda, Sasha and the rest of the team this Sunday.
