Anstiss has been a vital piece in the midcourt since signing for Fever in 2017. Winning the Stacey Marinkovich Medal in her debut season, she has since notched up more than 100 games playing at Wing Defence and Centre.
Teague-Neeld joined Fever in 2019 and found her best form since moving to Wing Attack in 2022. In 2023, she led the league for Centre Pass Receives and Goal Assists and attended the Origin Australian Diamonds Training Camp as an Invitee.
Anstiss said she was grateful and excited to sign with the Club for a further three seasons.
“It feels a little surreal that I am heading into my eighth season with the Club. There is nothing better than playing at home in front of friends, family and the Green Army,” Anstiss said.
“I can’t wait to get started, meet some of our new teammates and see the Green Army at RAC Arena soon.”
West Coast Fever Coach Dan Ryan said Anstiss was a heart and soul player and the absolute rock of the team.
“Jess is so well respected by everyone at the Club and her ability to be a consistently brilliant performer season after season is so impressive,” Ryan said.
“Every team needs the character and skill set that Jess brings. She is genuinely one of the best team players I’ve ever worked with. Her work rate and competitiveness make her one of the best players in the league.
“Jess had a great season in 2023 and continues to grow as a leader and I’m looking forward to seeing her take a giant leap forward next season.”
Teague-Neeld said she was excited to start pre-season training with new and returning teammates.
“We’ve had a similar looking team since I came to Fever and now we are going to have a bit of a change up this year, which will be really good for us and exciting for the Green Army,” she said.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to challenge myself at Wing Attack. It’s a position I have really enjoyed over the past two seasons and I am looking forward to building the combinations with some of our new recruits, in particular with our Goal Attacks.”
Ryan said: “Watching Alice Teague-Neeld develop into one of the best Wing Attacks in the league over the past two seasons has been a real highlight, and I’m so keen to see how much more she can grow over the next three seasons,” he said.
“She has a brilliant netball mind and has become such an important member our team, on and off the court. She really believes in herself and as a result, she’s coming into her own as a leader and owning her value within our environment.
“It’s so great to see Alice enjoying her netball again and I just love having her as part of West Coast Fever.”
