Putt is a Goal Shooter/Goal Attack who has represented West Coast Fever at Reserves level during the past two Australian National Championships. The 20-year-old has also been an integral part of the Western Roar at GIG WA Netball League level and is a nationally categorised underaged athlete, having represented WA at 17 & Under and 19 & Under National Netball Championships.
Head Coach Dan Ryan said: “As a local emerging talent, Emma has been making great progress throughout our pathway programs over the past few seasons and produced some really impactful performances at last year’s ANC competition for Fever Reserves.
“She’s earned the right to take the next step now and see what her game looks like at the elite level. The Fever environment will be a big challenge, but the chance to test herself against our international standard defenders in our training environment will be invaluable for her.
“She’s a quietly determined athlete and I know she’s going to gain so much from the experience. I’m really looking forward to seeing how much she grows throughout the year.”
