She’s one of the shortest players in the competition and each week she puts her body on the line, but Ingrid Colyer’s agility and hunger for the ball is second to none and is currently leading the competition with 110 centre pass receives. Attempting to slow Colyer down will be Firebirds Captain, Gabi Simpson who is considered one of the best defensive mid-court players in the world.

Jhaniele Fowler v Rudi Ellis
Jhaniele Fowler continues to cement herself as the best shooter in the league with 265 goals for the season. Fowler is shooting at 93 per cent accuracy and is averaging more than 50 goals a game. Firebirds will be sure to switch between Rudi Ellis and Tara Hinchliffe in a bid to minimise Fowler’s impact on the scoreboard.
