Green Army, two of our athletes spent 2026 on the sidelines, but their impact extended well beyond the court. From supporting their teammates to connecting with young fans, Jae and Sunday remained an important part of the Fever family.
Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard spent the season on parental leave. Jae, her husband Ashani and daughter Drehannah welcomed baby Joshua in April, bringing immense joy to the Fever family.
She was never far from the action, cheering on her teammates at home games, often with baby Josh wearing headphones by her side. She was also a regular presence at training as she gradually began her return to court.
Over the past few months, Jae has worked with the high-performance team on her return to play after giving birth, spending plenty of time in the gym and on court, often with Josh watching on.
Away from her own training, Jae has also shared her skills at clinics, helping younger members of the Green Army develop their game.
Meanwhile, Sunday spent the 2026 season focused on rehabilitation following a devastating ACL injury.
While her recovery has not always been smooth sailing, she has remained committed to working towards her return.
As you may have seen on our social media channels, Sunday completed her first run on Wednesday, an exciting milestone in her rehabilitation and a moment she has worked hard to reach.
Throughout the year, Sunday continued to support her teammates at training sessions, captains’ runs and games. She also helped at clinics and remained a familiar presence around the Club.
Be part of the Green Army at RAC Arena next season and support Jae, Sunday and the team. Memberships are available now.
