West Coast Fever will face Melbourne Vixens in a grand final rematch at RAC Arena to commence the 2023 Suncorp Super Netball season.
In other fixture highlights, the Fever will play the Adelaide Thunderbirds at RAC Arena during ANZAC Round and host Sunshine Coast Lightning in First Nations Round in June.
West Coast Fever Coach Dan Ryan said: “To face the Vixens again, in front of a sell-out crowd at RAC Arena is the perfect way to start our 2023 campaign. We will prepare the team ready to hit the ground running and we know the Vixens will come out hard which is the best way to start a season.
“I would strongly encourage our Members and fans to make sure they get their 2023 membership and be part of the Green Army for our first match of the season as well as our other home games. Playing in front of the Green Army at RAC Arena is like having an eighth player on court.”
“There are a couple of back-to-back road trips in the first half of the season but we have faced those challenges previously and we know what we need to do in those situations to prepare and win on the road. The flip side is we have four of our last six games at home in front of the Green Army.
“We know what our journey is, we know what we need to do and now it is up to us to climb the mountain and attack the competition from Round One.”
