Fowler finished with 38 votes, just three votes ahead of Captain Courtney Bruce, to claim the medal. Vice Captain Jess Anstiss and Defender Sunday Aryang finished equalled third on 25 votes.
In the other awards, Fowler also took home the Players’ Player of the Year Award while Aryang was recognised with the Coach’s Award.
Fan favourite Verity Simmons won the People’s Choice Award as voted by the Green Army.
While West Coast Fever Talent Coach Guy Keane was recognised for his commitment and dedication to the Club with the Club Person of the Year Award. His work ethic and willingness to engage with and help others is front and centre to his character and made him a worthy recipient of the award.
