West Coast Fever Goal Shooter Jhaniele Fowler has continued her sensational form this Suncorp Super Netball Season with selection for the seventh time in nine rounds in the Nissan Net Points Team of the Week.
Fowler scored 66 goals without a miss from one-point range in Fever’s 9-point win over the Sunshine Coast Lightning on Saturday to be named match MVP.
She also recorded two rebounds and a goal assist to tally 120 Nissan Net Points, seeing her season total increase to 917 points at an average of 101 per game.
She is more than 140 points ahead of her nearest rival on the competition’s overall Nissan Net Points leader board.
Nissan Net Points are Suncorp Super Netball’s stats-based scoring system, run by Champion Data, that measures every player action on the court.
Points are allocated for every statistic and if players make mistakes or cause turnovers, they lose points. At the end of the game, each player receives an individual Nissan Net Points score, which represents their contribution to the match.
