West Coast Fever Goal Shooter Jhaniele Fowler maintained her position at the top of the Nissan Net Points leader board and featured again in the Team of the Round following Fever’s Round 9 clash with the NSW Swifts.
Fowler accumulated 96 Nissan Net Points during the game with a perfect shooting record of 47/47 and four rebounds.
She leads the competition with a game in hand, sitting at the top of the table with 754.5 Nissan Net Points, almost 100 ahead of Thunderbirds defender Shamera Sterling on 659.5.
Fowler has scored 447 goals so far this season at 96 per cent accuracy and collected 26 rebounds as she continues to be a dominant force in the circle for the Fever.
Nissan Net Points are Suncorp Super Netball’s stats-based scoring system, run by Champion Data, that measures every player action on the court.
Points are allocated for every statistic and if players make mistakes or cause turnovers, they lose points. At the end of the game, each player receives an individual Nissan Net Points score, which represents their contribution to the match.
Fans can then vote each week on their individual ‘Game Changer’ from the Team of the Week for a chance to win weekly prizes.
