West Coast Fever Goal Shooter Jhaniele Fowler has claimed the Suncorp Super Netball Player of the Year Award for the fifth consecutive year at tonight’s Australian Netball Awards.
Fowler had a stellar season, scoring 929 goals, shooting at 97 per cent and made four super shots. She also pulled down 55 rebounds and scored 1668.5 Nissan Net points.
Fowler was also named Goal Shooter in the Suncorp Super Netball Team of the Year, joined by Fever Captain Courtney Bruce, who was named as the defensive reserve.
In recognition of her outstanding international season, Bruce shared the International Player of the Year with Diamonds Captain Liz Watson.
West Australian product and former Fever Training Partner Donnell Wallam was announced as Suncorp Super Netball Rookie of the Year.
