West Coast Fever’s Corporate Netball Challenge is a day for team building and competition, however the 2021 edition of the event will hold special meaning, with the day to support the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund.
The Club will donate $2 for every goal scored across the round-robin style day to the Wooroloo and Hills Bushfire Appeal, which has already raised more than $13m.
Again supported by long-standing partners PKF Perth, the 2021 edition will see 16 teams descend on the Gold Netball Centre on Friday afternoon.
West Coast Fever General Manager (Performance & Pathway) Sue Gaudion said it was the least the Club could do to support those affected.
“West Coast Fever is proud West Australian club, so we’re proud to support the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund,” Gaudion said.
“We’re hoping for lots of goals on Friday afternoon at the Gold Netball Centre, so I hope everyone has their star shooters locked in.”
“It was horrifying to see the catastrophic damage these bushfires caused, and we continue to keep those people affected by the fires in our thoughts.”
“I would also like to acknowledge the incredible work of those fire fighters who spent many days and nights battling the blazes; you are truly the heroes of our community, and for that we thank you.”
