With the support of the Green Army, Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard took home a huge 68 goals for the night with 117 Nissan Net Points

The match took off with a neck and neck start with both teams going goal-for-goal in the opening minutes.
Fever were able to break away and create a lead thanks to the mid-court magic of Alice Teague-Neeld with 11 Feeds and Jordan Cransberg with 10.
Despite pressure from Firebird Isabelle Shearer, Fowler-Nembhard scored 20 goals for the first quarter.

The second quarter was all about defence, with Kadie-Ann Dehaney leaping for three rebounds under the post.
Sunday Aryang managed a strong intercept, whilst a missed super shot from Firebird Mary Cholhok was the perfect opportunity for Aryang to steal a rebound and move the ball into the waiting hands of Fowler-Nembhard.
Shanice Beckford scored the first super shot for the match with a minute in the quarter to solidify Fever’s 11-goal lead at half time.

Fran Williams’ impact on the court was immense in the third quarter. Her pressure under goals combined with her ability to break free for ball earning her three deflections and an intercept.
Zoe Cransberg came on in the centre bib and with quick thinking took an intercept off the hands of Firebird Imogen Allisson.
Olivia Wilkinson kept the Green Army happy, taking two quick goals as she entered the game as well as two super shots later in the term.

Wilkinson continued to be an important presence with two goals including a super shot, 12 goal assists and 12 feeds for the final quarter.
Dehaney took three deflections whilst Fever built a lead as high as 20 goals during the quarter.
The final minutes were electric thanks to an incredibly loud Green Army who felt the fever as the squad soared to another win.
Fever now faces two consecutive games on the road, taking on the NSW Swifts in Round 9 and the Melbourne Mavericks in Round 10.
