West Coast Fever announced the winner of their Dress Design Competition earlier this week as Chloe Turnbull’s design won the hearts of the online Fever community.
Earlier this year, the Club launched a competition, open to all fans, to design a Fever playing dress. The winning design will be worn by the whole Fever Squad in a future home game in Australia’s finest indoor venue, RAC Arena.
Of the entries, three were shortlisted and promoted across West Coast Fever’s Facebook and Instagram channels with fans voting on their favourite, ultimately having the final say on what their team will be stepping out onto the court in for a future match.
Chloe’s design captures iconic Western Australia flora and fauna, featuring the Black Swan and Kangaroo Paw Plants, accompanied with the words ‘Stronger Together’ creating a connection to unity within the design.
West Coast Fever Managing Director Simon Taylor expressed the importance of the Fever Families role within the club.
“Our fans and members are at the core of our club’s actions, with our purpose being to inspire and make you proud,” said Taylor.
“With this competition, we wanted to reiterate that our fans and members are just as important as the ten athletes in green to the Club’s success.”
“Fever supporters are amongst the most passionate and vocal in the league, creating a game day atmosphere like no other. This competition serves as a new opportunity for our members and supporters to integrate into our unique game day experience.”
