Leading by a single goal going into the last quarter, Fever came out firing outscoring the Adelaide Thunderbirds 14-7 to win the match 49-41.
The match was a tight encounter for the first three quarters with scores locked at the first two breaks.
The Fever struggled to find a way through the Thunderbirds defence in the first quarter until Emma Cosh fired two supershots to help the Fever draw level at quarter time.
While the Thunderbirds controlled the majority of the second quarter, two late supershots to Player of the Match Sasha Glasgow allowed the Fever to draw level at the main break.
Fever’s connection in the second quarter improved as Jordan Cransberg worked into the game at Wing Attack.
The teams traded goals in the third quarter before both sides started landing supershots during Power Time.
Three supershots from Glasgow in the third saw the Fever go into the last break with a one goal lead.
And from there it was all West Coast Fever as they scored seven of the first nine goals of the quarter to opening up a lead.
