First introduced last year, Super Netball Reserves was established to support talent identification and to provide additional match play for athletes on the cusp of Suncorp Super Netball.
The 2025 season will inject an eighth Suncorp Super Netball affiliated team to the competition with the addition of the Melbourne Mavericks. All eight teams will play each other once across a seven-week period that will run alongside Suncorp Super Netball from Round 4 to Round 10.
In addition to a new team, Super Netball Reserves 2025 will also provide teams with the opportunity for extra national match play, with a bolstered Finals Weekend and in-season tournament.
The Finals Weekend and new ‘Play-In Tournament’ will take to Melbourne’s Waverley Netball Centre this June for a full week of elite netball magic. The week will not only see the eight Super Netball Reserves teams contend, but also teams from Tasmania, ACT and the Northern Territory.
