Fever will utilise their current momentum off the back of their Minor Semi Final win to push them towards sealing the last converted spot in the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final.
All SSN fans will have their eyes on the Preliminary Final at John Cain Arena as both sides, who have had highly successful seasons and were separated merely by percentage, do battle.
Fever won their Minor Semi Final clash against the Sunshine Coast Lightning in breathtaking fashion, taking a 10-goal win in front of the Green Army.
“We’ve been tracking nicely over the past four to five weeks and to perform like that in the pressure of a final was really important for us,” Ryan said.
The Vixens are coming off the back off their 25-goal loss to the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the Major Semi Final and will no doubt be looking to bounce back.
“What we need to anticipate and prepare for is the Vixens at their very best, irrespective of past performances,” Ryan said.
“It’s do or die for both teams, you bring your best or get booted out of the competition, so we expect the Vixens to be absolutely firing, the same expectation we have of ourselves.”
Fever lost to the Vixens in Round 7 but found their revenge in their crucial Round 13 one-goal win, proof that this weekend will be anyone’s match.
“We know that our game is in really good shape and the form of the players is really good,” Ryan said.
“We’re happy to play wherever we need to play, it’s another game of netball for us and we all know we’re confident in great form.”
