After leading the Club to their maiden premiership in 2022, Ryan took Fever to this year’s Preliminary Final and possesses a winning percentage of 68.75 per cent across his 32 matches in charge.
Chief Executive Officer Simone Hansen said the Club was excited to renew Ryan’s contract for a further three seasons.
“Dan’s record speaks for itself. A premiership in year one, followed by securing the Team Girls Cup and making the Preliminary Final in year two is the mark of success,” Hansen said.
“He delivered the premiership we had been striving for and the Board and I have no doubt that Dan is the right person for the job.
“What he brings to our Club on and off the court is immense. We all see his passion and energy on the court but equally important is the way he drives culture and performance off the court. He is a true asset of our Club and I know the Green Army will continue to get right behind Dan and the team.”
Ryan said he was incredibly grateful to West Coast Fever and Netball WA for the belief and support to continue as the Head Coach.
“I’ve genuinely thrived at the club since arriving in 2021 and we’ve achieved some great success together. I’m really excited to see what the future holds,” he said.
“It’s such a privilege to work with the calibre of athletes and high-performance professionals we have at our Club, so to be given the opportunity to lead the team again and work in my passion every single day is something I’m very thankful for.
“The Fever environment has played a huge role in my growth as a coach and I’m so determined and committed to keep challenging myself to become the best coach I can be for the team.
“I love a challenge, and in this competition every week, every game, every season presents something different to navigate. Coaching really is about constant evolution and finding new ways forward and I can’t wait to continue on this journey.”
