Fever led from start to finish in a strong performance to kick start their weekend, built off the back of high defensive pressure across the court.
Goalkeeper Kadie-Ann Dehaney starred for Fever as she controlled the back court, finishing the game with three Gains, one Rebound and an Intercept from 30 minutes court time.
Her battle with Suncorp Super Netball newcomer Mary Cholhok was enthralling to watch, setting the scene for future battles in the season proper.
At the other end of the court, Alice Teague-Neeld was another standout performer.
Her move to Goal Attack in the second half ensured Fever built of their 12-goal lead at the main break. Teague-Neeld finished the game with 30 Feeds, a Deflection and an important third-quarter supershot.
Olivia Wilkinson started the game strongly for Fever with 21 Goals from 24 including two supershots before she sat out the second half.
Mwai Kumwenda entered the game and her presence at Goal Shooter in the second half provided Fever a strong target, just like Wilkinson did in the first half.
Captain Jess Anstiss was another strong performer in the Centre before moving to Wing Defence in the last quarter. Anstiss had 12 Feeds and nine Goal Assists in a controlling display which brough her teammates into the game.
Fever will now face the NSW Swifts on Saturday with the match commencing at 9.30am WST.
