Three West Coast Fever players feature in this week’s Nissan Net Points Team of the Round after playing key roles in their convincing win over Collingwood Magpies in Round 13.
Defender Sunday Aryang registered 55.5 Nissan Net Points with 7 gains, 4 intercepts and 3 deflections in one her best games of the season at Goal Defence.
Jess Anstiss totalled 92.5 Nissan Net Points after controlling play through the mid court and recording 18 goal assists from 29 feeds, three deflections and four pick-ups.
Goal Shooter Jhaniele Fowler had a mammoth 138.5 Nissan Net Points with 62 goals at 94 per cent accuracy, as well as an intercept, two deflections and six rebounds.
Heading into the last round of the season, she now has a grand total of 1337 Nissan Net Points, more than 380 ahead of her nearest rival with a game in hand.
Nissan Net Points are Suncorp Super Netball’s stats-based scoring system, run by Champion Data, that measures every player action on the court.
Points are allocated for every statistic and if players make mistakes or cause turnovers, they lose points. At the end of the game, each player receives an individual Nissan Net Points score, which represents their contribution to the match.
