Kadie-Ann Dehaney and Sunday Aryang were the defensive duo in Mavericks goals and produced plenty of pressure on Shimona Jok and Sasha Glasgow. The Fever pair were able to generate missed shots and find quick rebounds to change momentum.
Despite having both Oliva Lewis and Kim Brown defending her, Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard was able to find ball and shot 20 goals for the quarter.

The defensive pressure continued in the second term, Dehaney’s presence was felt with two deflections and Aryang’s one.
The Cransberg twins’ ability to roll on and inject their individual strengths before their opposition notice is becoming a crucial play, with Zoe subbing on for Jordan and making an instant impact.
The side continued to drive with a margin of nine goals at half-time.

In the third quarter, Jordan Cransberg was fast and provided plenty of options, taking 11 goal-assists and 12 feeds.
Alice Teague-Neeld and captain Jess Anstiss continued to be a reliable combination down the mid-court who were able to out-run debutant Zoe Davies and Maisie Nankivell.
Olivia Wilkinson came on court for the first time and immediately scored, followed by another two goals, a deflection and a super shot. Wilkinson helped the side find a winning margin as large as 16 goal at one point in the term.

Fever continued to erupt in the fourth quarter in front of their home crowd of 7967 fans.
