After finishing third on the ladder at the end of the regular season, Fever stormed through the Minor Semi Final taking a 10-goal win against the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
The Melbourne Vixens, who finished in second ahead of Fever by percentage, fell to the Minor Premiers Adelaide Thunderbirds in the Major Semi Final by 25 goals.
In Round 7, Fever faced their first loss of the year when they went down to the Vixens by 11 goals. They found their redemption in Round 13 with a thrilling one-goal win at the same stadium they will play at this weekend.
Last week’s star Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard will be crucial to the side’s success opposed to former West Coast Fever teammate Rudi Ellis, who will have a keen focus on limiting her shooting accuracy.
After a sensational game in the Semi Final, defensive trio Sunday Aryang, Kadie Ann-Dehaney and Fran Williams will be looking to block all the efforts of Vixens shooters Sophie Garbin, Kiera Austin and Lily Graham.
The team that claims victory will go straight to the Grand Final next weekend to face the Adelaide Thunderbirds in Adelaide.
