The Club has agreed to move its Round 5 home game from Sunday 12 May to Friday 10 May at 6:30pm WST after Netball Australia and broadcast partner the Foxtel Group supported a request for a world title triple header boxing event to be hosted at RAC Arena.
West Coast Fever Chief Executive Officer Simone Hansen said: “The opportunity to host a Friday Night game is very exciting for our Club and we know the Green Army will fill out RAC Arena to support Fever as we take on the Firebirds.
“The game will also mark the first of three home games in three weeks, and we strongly encourage all netball fans to take advantage of this stretch of matches with one of our flexible membership options.
“We also see it is a great chance to expose netball to a new audience as we look to attract CBD workers and people living in and around the Perth CBD to come and watch Friday Night netball.
“I want to take the chance to also thank Netball Australia, the Queensland Firebirds, RAC Arena and the Foxtel Group for their support in rescheduling this match to the Friday evening.”
