West Coast Fever can today confirm that Kaylia Stanton has not been offered a contract for the 2021 season.
Stanton has been with West Coast Fever for the past seven seasons, and was a member of the Club’s two Grand Final appearances in 2018 and 2020.
The Perth Netball Association product made her National League debut in 2016, and has also represented Australia in 2017 and 2018 at the Fast5 Netball World Series.
West Coast Fever Head Coach Stacey Marinkovich said Stanton was a team player who will be sorely missed, and thanked for her contributions to the Club.
“In her almost decade with the Club, Kaylia has been a valued member of West Coast Fever, and I have seen immense growth in her game during that time,” Marinkovich said.
“Kaylia provided the team with great energy and passion, and this was an incredibly tough decision to make.”
“Kaylia and her family have been dedicated members of our Fever Family over the past seven years and I thank them for what they’ve done for our Club.”
Stanton said: “As disappointing as the decision is, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity West Coast Fever has provided me over the past seven years.”
The Club would like to thank Kaylia for her contributions and wish her the very best in her future endeavours.
