West Coast Fever has today confirmed that defender Shannon Eagland will depart the Club.
Eagland has been an integral member of the Club since joining in 2017 and played important roles in Fever’s Grand Final appearances in both 2018 and 2020.
Most importantly, Eagland consistently demonstrated the Club’s values during her time with Fever and was a sensational leader amongst the playing squad, always supporting and challenging her teammates.
West Coast Fever Head Coach Stacey Marinkovich said: “Shannon is a high quality, versatile player.”
“Among her many qualities Shannon has had a great ability to drive her teammates to be better, and I know that whatever path she takes next, she will flourish and take these qualities with her.”
“We’ve thoroughly enjoyed having Shannon and her family as part of our Club over the past four years and I have seen immense growth in her game.”
The Club would like to thank Shannon for her contributions over the past four seasons and wish her the very best in her future endeavours.
