West Coast Fever will once again face a West Australian All Stars team during their preparation for the 2021 Suncorp Super Netball season.
The match will be held at the Gold Netball Centre on Saturday 27 March, with limited tickets on offer for West Coast Fever Members.
It’s the second year running the Club will face the All Stars team, and the match will serve as the first time Members will be able to catch the team in action in almost 12 months.
It will be the first pre-season match for the team in 2021, before they travel to Kalgoorlie in April to face the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
West Coast Fever Head Coach Stacey Marinkovich said the match was an important component of the pre-season.
“Planning pre-season games has been no easy feat with the volatility of boarder closures," Marinkovich said.
"To be able to kick off our pre-season matches with a game against the WA All Stars is a great opportunity for our team, and we're looking forward to the challenge of playing against the depth and quality that is coming through in WA in both the Men and Women’s Leagues."
“For our players, it’ll be the first chance for the team to combine and challenge our combinations, our skill and transfer our training environment to the performance against a quality side. It will be a great starting point before we embark on matches against the Lightning in Kalgoorlie.”
“It's been a long time since we have played in front of our Members, Partners and supporters and I am sure both the team and our community are eager to see netball being played back in WA.”
The WA All Stars team will be named in the coming days.
West Coast Fever Members will receive information on how to claim tickets shortly.
