Captain Jess Anstiss, Alice Teague-Neeld and Jordan Cransberg were solid through the mid court.
Glasgow once again stood up when it mattered, with two super shots to end the quarter and widen the margin that Lightning had fought so hard to close.

Cransberg shone in the third quarter, collecting eight Goal Assists and 17 Feeds, her precision allowing Aiken-George to score 15 for the quarter.
Williams also fiercely stole both a rebound and an intercept, forcing errors in the Lightning shooting end and disrupting their flow.

Despite 14 goals from Wallam including five supershots, Dehaney was a force with a deflection in that final quarter.
Fever continued to push, surviving a late Lightning surge to show their grit, opening the 2026 season with an ecstatic Vengabus in front of a crowd of 8007 fans.
