Despite 14 goals from Wallam including five supershots, Dehaney was a force with a deflection in that final quarter.
Fever continued to push, surviving a late Lightning surge to show their grit, opening the 2026 season with an ecstatic Vengabus in front of a crowd of 8007 fans.
