West Coast Fever’s attacking circle was named in the Round 6 Nissan Net Points Team of the Week following a high-scoring clash with the Giants in Sydney, which saw the Fever lose by a solitary point 73-74.
Goal Shooter Jhaniele Fowler was included for the fifth time in the Team of the Week with 120.5 Nissan Net Points after scoring 62 goals at 95.4% and collecting four rebounds, two deflections and a gain.
She remains at the top of the overall Nissan Net Points leader board with 591.5 points, more than 50 ahead of second-placed Shamera Sterling from the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
Alice Teague-Neeld was also named in the Round 6 Team of the Week after a great game at Goal Attack against the Giants, recording 28 assists from 33 feeds and slotting five Suncorp Super Shots.
She also recorded two pick-ups, two rebounds and 24 centre pass receives to total 89 Nissan Net Points for the game.
Nissan Net Points are Suncorp Super Netball’s stats-based scoring system, run by Champion Data, that measures every player action on the court.
Points are allocated for every statistic and if players make mistakes or cause turnovers, they lose points. At the end of the game, each player receives an individual Nissan Net Points score, which represents their contribution to the match.
