West Coast Fever Goal Shooter Jhaniele Fowler and Goal Attack Sasha Glasgow were both recognised for their key contribution to Sunday’s win over Collingwood with selection in the Round 8 Nissan Net Points Team of the Week.
Fowler was at her usual best, scoring 61 goals at 97% accuracy to go with four rebounds and an assist, seeing her tally 125 Nissan Net Points and solidify her spot at the top of the competition leader board.
Glasgow finished the game with 5 goals and 4 Suncorp Super Shots, including 3 in the final quarter that helped Fever snatch the win from Collingwood after trailing by 4 points heading into the power five.
Glasgow also recorded 15 assists, 2 deflections and a rebound to notch up 61.5 Nissan Net Points.
Nissan Net Points are Suncorp Super Netball’s stats-based scoring system, run by Champion Data, that measures every player action on the court.
Points are allocated for every statistic and if players make mistakes or cause turnovers, they lose points. At the end of the game, each player receives an individual Nissan Net Points score, which represents their contribution to the match.
