The defender had a stellar 2024, winning her second Jill McIntosh Medal, as the best and fairest player in the Gold Industry Group WA Netball League, as well as playing every game for the Fever Reserves.
Brown said: “This is something I have been working towards for a few years now and to have it be official feels a bit surreal.
“Everyone in the environment has been so supportive already and really challenged me to take that next step, I can’t wait for the year ahead to keep working with everyone.”
Head Coach Dan Ryan said Brown had made huge improvements to her overall game over the past few years and established herself as one of the most consistent performers for the Fever Reserves and at GIG WA Netball League level.
“Caitlyn’s signing as training partner is a testament to her willingness, commitment and determination to put in the extra work and really push herself to see what she is truly capable of,” Ryan said.
“She’s been a dominant force in GIG WANL for many years now, winning multiple premierships and being a dual Jill McIntosh Medallist. She was also a standout performer in our West Coast Fever Reserves team last year and has absolutely earned the opportunity to challenge herself at the next level.
“Caitlyn is ready for the next step in her netball journey and I’m looking forward to seeing what impact she can have on our Fever environment.”
