West Coast Fever captain Courtney Bruce was named in the Round 6 Nissan Net Points Team of the Round with the highest individual total of 114 points following a dominant display against Collingwood Magpies.
Bruce led by example with 11 gains, 7 deflections and five intercepts to disrupt the opposition’s path to attack time and time again, seeing her named player of the match.
Her performance helped Fever record a convincing 78-55 win over Magpies to maintain their unbeaten record heading into this weekend’s game against Firebirds in Brisbane.
Nissan Net Points are Suncorp Super Netball’s stats-based scoring system, run by Champion Data, that measures every player action on the court.
Points are allocated for every statistic and if players make mistakes or cause turnovers, they lose points. At the end of the game, each player receives an individual Nissan Net Points score, which represents their contribution to the match.
Fans can then vote each week on their individual ‘Game Changer’ from the Team of the Week for a chance to win weekly prizes.
