Game MVP Jordan Cransberg lead the way from the centre of the court as her two gains, two intercepts and a deflection, combined with her 37 feeds and 16 goal assists, provided Fever a level of control.
Fever’s shooting circle was also on fire as Romelda Aiken-George finished with 46 goals and Sasha Glasgow 12, including three supershots.
Defensively Kadie-Ann Dehaney proved to be an obstacle for the Firebirds, finishing with three gains, three deflections and a rebound.
Fever started the contest on fire, scoring the first five goals of the game, taking a 10-goal lead into the first break and remaining in control of much of the match.
The strong start continued into the second quarter as Fever’s pressure across the court allowed them to win ball off the home side. Fever’s half time lead built off four goals from gains and nine goals from turnovers.
The visitors doubled their lead to 20 with the last seven goals of the second quarter including a supershot to Glasgow.
Fever continued to put the foot down in the third quarter as they turned for home with a 28-goal lead.
The last quarter saw an improved Firebirds outfit put pressure on Fever as Coach Dan Ryan rotated the bench.
A late flurry of four supershots from Mary Cholhok reduced the margin but Fever’s clinical first three quarters ensured they would return to Perth with the four points and third spot on the ladder.
Fever now face the Melbourne Mavericks in their final home game of the season on Saturday Night at RAC Arena.
