West Coast Fever Captain Courtney Bruce added a Nissan Net Points Team of the Week inclusion to her Commonwealth Games selection, rounding out a big week of personal achievements.
Bruce recorded 11 deflections, 6 gains, 3 intercepts and 2 rebounds to total 106 Nissan Net Points as Fever ran out 11-point winners over the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the final ropund of the season.
She was also named in the Australian Diamonds team of 12 for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Birmingham this week, along with defensive counterpart Sunday Aryang.
Bruce finished the season in the Top 5 on the Nissan Net Points leader board with 1076 points, while Jhaniele Fowler took out top spot with 1438 points.
Nissan Net Points are Suncorp Super Netball’s stats-based scoring system, run by Champion Data, that measures every player action on the court.
Points are allocated for every statistic and if players make mistakes or cause turnovers, they lose points. At the end of the game, each player receives an individual Nissan Net Points score, which represents their contribution to the match.
